The exhibition Sifi 911 featured 30
paintings whose subject was specifically the attack & collapse
of the World Trade Centre Towers on September 11th 2001.
The execution of these works was a 'mourning ritual' to mark the
tragedy of September 11th and the devastating impact that it has
had on our fragile planet.
The major discovery in making these works has been the recognition
that human frailty and pain are universal - and that in that universality
lies the potential perhaps for great epic images to be made and
epic poems to be sung.
