Immigration minister Phillip Ruddock corrupt...
 SBS Australia's preminent public broadcaster has, on it's current affairs program 'Insight' , been examing the links between Liberal party donations and the granting of immigration 'favours'...the program has revealed quite clearly that despite Mr Ruddoch's denials he has personally recieved and has been specifically aware of, large donations to his party and that in return he has given favours to and intervened in the granting of visas to those same individuals...the bottom line is if you want to gain Australian citizenship or permanent residency then you can buy them....just another incidence of the endemic corruption that has become a part of Australia's conservative government...

Iraq WMD'S no show , so new campaign of lies begins...
 The Iraq survey group has failed to turn up any evidence of the threat of weapons of mass destruction, so the coalition have started a new campaign of lies to cover up their deception....the line they are taking is that they were duped by Iraq defectors to believe that there was a wmd threat.....well that is a total nonsense...the Hawks in the coalition, such as Perle and Wolferwitz have been running a pro invasion strategy since the first gulf war, irrespective of any intelligence that they have recieved in the intervening period...also it seems to me that governments are responsible for how effective their intelligence services are and it is not good enough just to say that they bear no responsibility because their intelligence services were somehow duped...the inability to find wmd's just underlines the fact that the premptive invasion of Iraq was unjustifiable...

 Itis sad to see that the U.S. like Australia has enacted legislation that under mines the civil rights of their populations...in Australia it is the ASIO bill whilst in the U.S. it is the patriot bill...U.S. attorney general John Ashcroft has been rolling his roadshow around the U.S. shoring up support for this nasty piece of legislation...151 communities and 3 states have passed resolutions against the patriot act.....trashing the bill of rights lessens the potential of what the U.S. could be ...a truly revolutionary democracy...Jefferson would turn in his grave..

Millitary deaths after victory {sic} exceed those of six week war...
 Tragically the deaths of U.S. millitary personnel since Bush's declaration of victory in the Iraq war now exceed the number of deaths in the six week campaign...in reality the war has just continued and the declaration of victory was nothing but a publicity stunt pulled of by the presidents landing in millitary uniform on an aircraft carrier...the image of which I found really sick and pathological.....I wish Bush would take his concepts of freedom and liberty and stick them up his arse where they belong...what is profoundly sad about the deaths of the soldiers is that so many of them are young men who have just grown out of childhood to become sacrifical lambs...and all in the name of a corrupted god , liberty , and freedom...the global war on terror is a huge beatup that does not at all address the root cause of these ghastly terrorist activitities ....the magnification of a false war on terror rather than making our planet safer is hastening even more cruel and vicious acts against all of humanity not only by 'terrorists' but by countries like the coalition of the willing....

U.S. millitary will ultimately have no choice but to withdraw...
 It was really interesting to hear the thoughts of an intelligent man, proffessor John Mearsheimer from the university of chicago in regard to the problems facing the U.S. administration....he makes a strong argument for the impossibility of sustaining a western presence in the middle east and the fact that this is a failure to recognize the lessons of the 20th century...an idealogical blindness that refuses to think outside it's own blinkers....the British, French and more failed to sustain their empires in the middle east so why does the U.S. administration feel that they can ?...bizarre..bizarre..... the Bush administration will fail because of their blindness and I can only say good riddance to bad rubbish !

 The coalition of the willing are now facing the ruins of their bizarre fantasy....Rumsfeld's wierd idea that the Iraqi people would somehow spontaneously embrace U.S. style democracy {sic} with grateful rapturous open arms has proved to be a ridiculously idle dream...the reality on the ground is a whole other monster...the ignorance and total lack of planning behind the invasion is becoming increasingly apparent...to sustain just the present U.S. engagement in Iraq will cost 100's of billions of dollars over the next few years alone...such a ridiculous waste of money to support a ludicrous idealogical dream is appalling to say the least and makes a mockery of the idea of truer economic management....control..conform..obey...the mantra of these idealogues is costing us our humanity and the adventure that we could all be a part of....the dumbing down of our human richness...materialism gone mad....vested interests bloated on the bloodfest...culture reduced to a gangrel..a mere wart on the body of humanity rather than the heart of us all....resist them !

Australian politics a total eyeful.....
 The Australian primeminister John Howard is now doing his level best to undermine the Australian judicial system through his comments on the prison sentence dished out to imfamous fascist One Nation leaders......the irony is laughable because Howard sent one of his dogs Tony Abbot out to get One Nation in the first place..they of course deny that they basically connived to do a hatchet job on one nation because it threatened to split the conservative vote....meanwhile poor old pauline rots in Wacol jail { which even I think is totally ridiculous and I think her politics stink... I just hope her followers realise the extent to which the coalition has been involved in her downfall }....no Tony Abbot ...probably no court case.......meanwhile it is not proper for the Primeminister to comment on the decisons of juries...

Iraq...U.S. offers no solutions....
 The situation in Iraq continues to become more problematic daily....having totally trashed the U.N. and in particular the security council in the lead up to the invasion ,the U.S. is now seeking to internationalise the peace keeping forces...inevitably many countries do not want to get involved ....there can be no long term solution unless the U.S. withdraws its forces totally and hands over to a U.N. led peacekeeping mission....this is not going to happen and inevitably we will bear witness to an ever increasing quagmire of violence and death in this unfortunate country...the coalition invasion becomes more clearly ill advised daily and any hope for a solution looks increasingly unlikely.....it is profoundly sad that many more will lose their lives in the months and years to come......

Australian primeminister raises ugly spectre of death penalty by stealth...
 The Australian primeminister is raising the ugly spectre of re-introducing the death penalty in this country...he claims that he currently opposes the death penalty not on moral grounds but for the pragmatic reason that innocent people could be inadvertently executed...this is disengenuous in the extreme.....I would bet my bottom dollar that in the next election he will run on the issue to appeal to the lowest common denominator within our community....the fact that he is unable to percieve the moral dimension of this is inexcusable particularly as he has made the pint, when it suits him , that political leadership has to rise above populist sentiment...it particularly stinks when he comments that " I respect the fact that a lot of people are in favour of the death penalty"....apparently his wife favours the introduction of capital punishment...such a decent woman {sic"... even more sickening is the fact that he believes " there should be a debate about this issue "....he is angling by stealth....this so called decent man is a complete barbaric arsehole who cloaks himself in his devout godliness...not so different as his good mate George !

Enourmous civilian casualty rate continues in Iraq....
 The appalling death of many innocent civilians continues despite the resistance of most news media to tell us what is going on because of the damage that it would cause to the false war narrative of the millitary industrial complex.....one hospital alone in Baghdad has recorded 400 civilian deaths caused by gunshot wounds in the last month... the overnight attack on the U.N. indicates quite clearly the rise of a resistance movement that the coalition will find hard to combat bacause of their complete lack of forward planning....they had absolutely no idea of what they were getting into

Attacks on infrastructure to be expected....unfortunately !
 The attacks on infrastructure were absolutely to be expected and unfortunately will cause further deterioration of life for the average citizen...but the coalition cannot wheedle out of their responsibility in the pretence that these attacks were not inevitable...despite the U.S. administrations claim that the conflict was over months ago ,to the contrary this war has only just begun.....an interesting side issue has arisen this week...the budget for a year in Iraq would be enough to completely overhaul the U.S. elecric power system that caused a power failure to almost 50 million Americans....it would seem to me that the money would be much better spent on the electrical infrastructure than to be wasted on Iraq.....unfortunately its to late but it is important to acknowledge that war is bad economics...it serves only to lessen human life...

 A french journalist who witnessed the killing of the palestinian journalist claims that they had been around the scene of the prison attack for at least half an hour and that millitary personel knew full well that they were journalists covering the story...he makes the claim that the palestinian journalist was basically assassinated....for what purpose ?,,,all very disturbing....

 A total of nineteen journalist's have been killed in Iraq...in the latest incident a palestinian journalist working for Reuters was shot dead by U.S. millitary personnel who claimed to have mistaken his camera for somekind of missile launcher....all very tragic....

 Aside from incidents in the present Iraq conflict ,problems with the use of dexadrine amphetamines were already known from the first gulf war but have been deliberately hushed up by the pentagon...one particular incident in the first gulf war saw the death of nine british soldiers killed by a U.S. airforce fighter attack.....despite a promise that U.S. personnel involved would face investigation in Britain this has never happened...

And finally..perverse feel good story !
 Channel 9 television ran this perverse feel good story the other night concerning a young Iraqi boy who lost 15 members of his family as well as his arms and legs in a coalition bombing attack... Ali Abbas has been flown to London to recieve prosthetic limbs which is terrific ,however the channel nine line was and I quote.."these are perhaps {perhaps sic ]not as good as the real thing " ...I would have thought perhaps really was not the right word....nothing can replace flesh and bone....the use of 'perhaps' is truly grotesque and insensitive...this poor boy has suffered the most horrific of injuries and we salve our guilt by pretending that we have done him a great favour....sickening in the extreme.

Armed medication..'go' pills and friendly fire !
 On April 18th 2002 four canadian soldiers died in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan when they were attacked by fighter aircraft... the Canadian government held an enquiry that found that the cause of the incident was the fault of pilot error...however that enquiry did not know that the pilots were using 'go' pills..in fact that was hushed up by the pentagon...the pilots Majors Bill Umbach and Harry Smidt have had their careers ruined by this incident which they believed largely occurred as a result of the use of amphetamines.... Ray an unidentified F16 pilot made the claim that he knew a number of personnel who had become seriously addicted to the pills given to them so liberally.... another soldier , an ex-member of an elite special forces group claimed that the drugs made him brutal and that as a consequence he had definetly killed innocent people including women and children !..." they made you do things that other normal human beings would not do"... This is all extremely disturbing to say the least.....to think that so many might have lost their precious lives as a consequence of 'go' pills is so repugnant...and in my mind nothing short of a crime against humanity and as such should be attacked by the full force of international law..

 Australia's wonderful SBS public broadcaster televised an astonishing documentary examining the use of the drug dexadrine amphetamine by the U.S. millitary.....the use of "go" pills is not only sanctioned but is mandatory for millitary personel...in particular the documentary interviewed a number of f16 fighter pilots who were told that if they did not use the drug they might be disallowed from flying missions.....the use of 'armed medication' is totally supported at Pentagon level.....it should be noted that dexadrine is a schedule 2 narcotic and as such is totally illegal except in the treatment of some psychological conditions...one millitary spokesmen made the ludicrous claim that the go pills "have no drug like effect" which begs a number of questions..1. how does he know it has no drug like effect unless he has tried drugs that enable him to make a comparison and 2. if go pills are a drug then they must inevitably have a drug like effect ..is that not so ? .... the use of dexadrine is further complicated by the use of the sedative ambien to bring millitary personnel 'down' after a mission......the in tandem use of uppers and downers is known as speedballing on the street so for the state to sanction this very dangerous use of drugs is hugely deleterious to the millitary personnel concerned.

Iraqi police die in friendly fire incident.....
 In another incident that will erode the confidence and security of citizens a number of Iraqi police, trained by U.S. trainers , have been gunned down by U.S . millitary forces in Baghdad....the police were giving chase to a stolen vehicle when their own vehicle came under machine gun fire and at least two Iraqi police died in the incident...this tragic incident will have an enormous impact on the moral of other Iraqi police trainees and further erode their confidence....

U.S. millitary euphemisms would be hilarious if they were not so serious. Lt General Ricardo Sanchez came up with an absolute pearler...his definition of chaos as "a challenging environment" had me in fits of laughter.... the use of dexadrine amphetamines has been described as "armed medications "....certainly a description of chemical warfare in a different context.....I will be talking a lot more about U.S. millitary sanctioned drug use over the next few days so keep posted to this site....my apologies for not posting pictures today but the network I am working from has had problems with a virus that has limited my access to my image files...hopefully this will be solved very shortly...

Iraqi people in state of fear...
 The coalition have failed totally their responsibility to create a secure environment for the Iraqi people....this is due primarily to the fact that whilst they had a plan for the invasion, no planning had occurred at all for the so called peace....this is criminal and as a consequence the deaths of innocent civilians continues...acute malnuitrition amongst children has doubled....rubbish mounts up in the streets as disposal systems have failed...fuel prices have increased 80 fold.....the hospital systems have failed.....ect ect ect.....all in all a totally lamentable failure on the part of the coalition....

 It is a great indication of how the coalition has lost the plot....in the days after the so-called stunning victory in Iraq it was made clear that there would be no international involvement in the reconstruction...flushed with pride the coalition was determined to go it alone so that only it would benefit from the spoils of war.....now however as the situation has become hopelessly bogged down and dangerous the tables have turned.. Commenting on the rash of violence and deaths in recent weeks a millitary spokesman said "this is something that everyone of us in the international community has to be concerned about".......suddenly the unilateralists become multilateralists......but only while it suits them.....pigs to the trough...oink oink.

 On May 29th Rumsfeld claimed that CIA and intelligence reports indicated that a number of truck trailers found in Iraq were definetly mobile weapons labs....Mr Rumsfeld indicated that this was an absolute certainty......funny how certain a certainty can be ....now in mid august it has been clearly proven that those trailers had nothing what so ever to do with biological weapons...in fact they were used for the purpose of making hydrogen for meteorological balloons....just another example of the lies and misimformation peddled by the illegitimate Bush administration.

The decent men [sic] dish out death....
 Yes its those so called decent men that dish out death.....Sister Helen Prejean who wrote the book from which the film "dead man walking ' was made has a long first hand experience of the death penalty in the U.S....... she makes the point that the death penalty is 'reserved for the poor , is racially selective , and is a political decoy '....."it's government imitating the very violence that it say's we cannot have in society'.....3000 individuals are currently awaiting execution in the U.S. at this very moment......we have abolished the death penalty in Australia but the government should make representation to the indonesian government to halt the death penalties faced by the Bali bombers.....this is not a denial of justice but morally the right thing to do...

 I read this in the window of a loft in New York city , December 2001......'an eye for an eye makes us all blind ' ....i have just seen Scorcese.s film New York gangs..it is set in an area of Manhattan then called the five points.....what is interesting about that is that the sign in the window of that loft was in the five points where Bleeker st , Mulberry st and Lafeyette St join up....there is a subway entrance there and I would catch the six train up to east harlemn...but the sign really stays in my mind......i can only agree......while I have enourmous sympathy for the victims of murder and terrorism and I understand their pain and anguish, I am opposed to the death penalty under any circumstances....I believe that no human has the right to determine to execute another human being irrespective of what ever they have done....it is such a denial of the mystery that we are all part of.......the death penalty has nothing to do with justice it is political....and politics and ethics are completely different worlds....

Huge suicide rate among coalition soldiers...
 While soldiers are dying daily as a result of guerilla attacks by Iraqi dissidents the suicide rate among coalition troops is startling....these poor young boys are being subjected to the most horrific conditions and as a consequence many are choosing to take their lives....how horrible is that ? What a waste of so much life ! While U.S. casualties are around 160 lives lost, when you add accidents and suicide the number is almost 250....so a significant percentage of the total are due to suicide...and the U.S. administration is responsible for that.

 I have the greatest privelege to be working with three great young actors....we are workshopping through Genet,s wonderful play "the Maids"....it is all very exciting and fun which is a relief from this dark planet and it,s current woes.....the degree of darkness that and duplicity that surrounds us all makes fun and art quite difficult...we live in an increasingly anti-cultural world which is a great pity...and our cultural microcosms are in great threat as a consequence of fascistic governance and the free trade movement....fuck free trade we need fair trade...fair not free ...fair not free....fair not free....our language is being hijacked.

Australian Primeminister rejects gay marriage....
 In classic John Howard style the primeminister of Australia has rejected gay marriage as a threat to that institution that perpetuates the human species or words to that effect....what an idiot this man is !...a total deadshit idiot.....the idea that people who love each other ,irrespective of their sexual orientations ,should not avail themselves of marriage if that is where there hearts take them..is absolutely ridiculous....I am so disgusted by his narrow vision...and this is no joke...this man is gross....this man is a murderer...this man is a fascist....this man has singlehandedly wound back the clock forty years in this country with his 1950,s picket fence mind and his racism and his violence.....

Asylum seekers deliberately misrepresented...
 Photo.s were released on the net last week that show a very diiferent story of the Children overboard scam....the photo.s were taken by navy personnel on board HMAS Adelaide during the rescue of asylumn seekers when their boat sank...the Australian government chose some of those photo.s to accuse the asylumn seekers of threatening to throw their children overboard...this was a total fabrication and the newly released photo.s make that very clear....the Australian government deliberately mislead the australian people yet again....they are liars....they are immoral thugs......they are fascists....

Iraq debacle continues....
 The Iraq debacle continues while the U.S. administration ,Blair and Howard continue ta attempt to put a positive spin on a situation that is rapidly becoming uncontrollable. Still no weapons of mass destruction....and U.S. soldiers unforunately dying daily...are those young lives worth so little...it is tragic....every evening I watch the honour roll on the Jim Lehrer news hour and I can only think that those boys would still be alive if the invasion had not gone ahead.....that is a very sobering thought...and one that needs to be shoved down the throats of Blair Bush and Howard...and I hope they choke on it.

George Bush's very strange freudian slip.....
 In a very strange interview with journalist.s George Bush was defending the effectiveness of his intelligence services in Iraq....he started to list the names of important Iraqi's that had been captured...he reeled off a few names , then suddenly used the name Ramsey and tried to connect an Iraqi surname to it...his face changed slightly as he fumbled the name..then he jokingly apologised to this Ramsey el whathisname before an aid rescued him with the correction.....now I doubt whether the name Ramsey is a common Iraqi given name...in fact I would bet there is not a Ramsey in the whole of Iraq and especially a Ramsey that has been captured recently......so who the hell is Ramsey.....I cannot help but think this was a freudian slip and that the president was refering to his fellow countryman and opponent Ramsey Clark....very insidious minds operater behind this illegitimate presidency.... how many people will be tossed off the voters rolls before the next presidential election.
